What is wellness?

Is it to do with our Physical state? Mental state? Emotional state? Financial state? Occupational state? Social state? Spiritual state? If one of these states gets affected, would you think it will affect another state? How so?

Just because you are not ‘sick’ does that mean you are well. Wellness is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease. It is a dynamic process of change and growth. It is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Maintaining an optimal level of wellness is absolutely critical in order to live a higher quality of life. Wellness is important because everything we do and every emotion we express relates to our well being. Likewise, our well being directly affects our actions and emotions. It’s a full circle.
